Salem Area Mass Transit District (doing business as Cherriots) provides public transportation for Salem, Keizer, and surrounding communities. Our vision is to deliver valued mobility options that inspire community pride, and our mission is to create community connections. .
We operate local and regional fixed-route buses, paratransit service (Cherriots LIFT), Shop and Ride Shuttles, and commuter services including Route 1X between Salem and Wilsonville/Portland. We also offer travel training and community options such as carpool and vanpool matching.
